Kevin M. Spiegel, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer

Kevin M. Spiegel brings extensive executive leadership experience across major health systems nationwide. Most recently, he served as CEO of Florida Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, and previously as CEO of Vista Health System in Waukegan, Illinois. His earlier roles include President & CEO of Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, a seven-hospital, $1.2 billion organization and CEO of Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, where he also served as an Assistant Professor in the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee.

Mr. Spiegel is widely recognized for his strategic vision, expertise in hospital turnaround, and passion for expanding patient access through transformational change. He is a board-certified healthcare executive and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mr. Spiegel is deeply committed to community service, having served on numerous boards and national councils. He previously served as a Chaplain with the United States Chaplain Corps, providing crisis counseling during national and international disasters.

Mr. Spiegel has authored many articles and lectures nationally and internationally. He holds an MBA in Health Care Administration and Finance from Adelphi University and received a BA in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and an AA in Liberal Arts from the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where he was just awarded the prestigious Alumni Leadership of the Year.

William A. Keates, MD, Chief Medical Officer

William A. Keates, MD, MHA, is a board-certified physician. Dr. Keates attended the University of Oklahoma where he graduated with a B.S. in Microbiology. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 2004. Dr. Keates then relocated to Winston-Salem, NC, where he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 2007. After completing his residency, Dr. Keates enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill College of Public Health where he received his Master in Healthcare Administration in 2011.
