As part of our holistic approach to cancer care, Randolph Health Cancer Center features a range of activities and spaces designed to help patients and their families relax.
Relaxation helps to improve blood pressure, reduce stress and anxiety, and provide a sense of freedom.
The sights, sounds and smells of a garden have always provided people with a respite from their troubles and given a feeling of serenity and peace during times of stress.
Visible from the Randolph Health Cancer Center chemotherapy infusion area, our Healing Garden has a variety of plants, shrubs, flowers and one-of-a-kind sculptures from artist Bill Rankin and custom-made art from master potter Ben Owen III.
Randolph Quilters Guild
One of the unique pieces of art hanging prominently in the Randolph Health Cancer Center lobby is a one-of-a-kind quilt designed and created by members of the local Randolph Quilters Guild.
Cancer patients and loved ones can relax in a private meditation room. The room, filled with a quiet and serene ambiance, has a beautifully hand-painted original mural by local artist Susan Harrell, providing patients an opportunity for quiet reflection.
