Cancer Surgery

Surgery is one of the most common treatments for cancer. For many types of cancer, it offers the greatest chance for a cure. This is especially true for cancers that haven't spread to other parts of the body.

At Randolph Health Cancer Center, we have a team of experienced, board-certified surgeons and access to the state-of-the-art surgical facilities at Randolph Health. Our cancer surgeons work closely with other members of the cancer team—including oncologists, gynecologists and urologists—to determine the best course of treatment for each of our patients.

Types of Cancer Surgery

Cancer surgery can be done for a variety of reasons. For example, surgery may be used to diagnose cancer, to determine the stage of cancer, or as a cancer treatment.
